The Mattapoisett Road Race starts at 9:00 am on Thursday, July 4– a great way to celebrate Independence Day! The course winds through the picturesque Mattapoisett village, around the fabled Ned’s Point Lighthouse, and back to Shipyard Park at the Town Wharf. Race proceeds are awarded to college-bound ORRHS runners. If you are applying for the Road Race Award, please do so by May 3. The race starts and finishes at Shipyard Park, and the course is 5 miles through Mattapoisett with splits at each mile. Water is provided throughout. Enter online at www.mattapoisettroadrace.com.
