The Bulldog Pride Alumni Association (BPAA) is pleased to announce the call for applications for the 2026-2027 cycle of the Grant Program, supporting creative and impactful initiatives at Old Rochester Regional Junior High School (ORRJHS) and Old Rochester Regional High School (ORRHS).
The program is open to students, teachers, and current staff. BPAA grants aim to augment funding of school projects that enhance the educational and extracurricular experience during the current school year. With a view toward impacting the greatest number of students, the Grants Committee will evaluate grant proposals according to the following criteria:
-Enhance student and teacher well-being
-Foster school and/or community relationships
-Develop creative programs in new areas
-Enrich curriculum or skill-based education
-Encourage professional growth
Applicants may indicate if their proposal is part of a multi-year project. Upon successful completion of the first year’s goals, they may apply for an additional grant for the 2027–2028 school year. The BPAA Grants Committee will evaluate future grant applications based on the merits of the completed project.
For the 2025-2026 inaugural cycle, the BPAA granted $1,800 to two applicants from ORRJHS and two from ORRHS. For the 2026-2027 cycle, the BPAA has committed to funding the Grant Program in the amount of $3,000.
After the review process, the Grants Committee will make its recommendations to the Executive Committee, whose decision is final. Grant recipients will be notified no later than December 7.
