Constance Ellen Hoksch (Kohout)

Constance Ellen Hoksch (Kohout), died November 29, 2021 of peritoneal cancer. Born in Malone, NY and raised in Fort Covington, NY, she graduated from Franklin Academy in Malone, where she played clarinet and saxophone. Connie graduated from Norwich University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degrees, then served a 20-year Air Force career, during which time she earned her Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, and had tours in South Korea and Germany. After retiring from the Air Force, Connie worked another 20 years in education, spending 14 as an Air Force Junior ROTC instructor in Maine, then Okinawa. Connie is survived by her mother, husband, brother, and two children. Connie requests donations to cancer charities as her memorial Arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett.     On behalf of Zama Middle High School JROTC, Camp Zama Japan we wish to extend our deepest Condolences and want you all to know that we have you all in our thoughts and prayers. As you all know, Major Hoksch was the epitome of true professional and was always there to provide assistance when and where needed. She will be missed.
