Have you ever thought about getting more involved in your community? There are three vacancies in the upcoming Mattapoisett Annual Town Election. There is one opening on the Old Rochester Regional School Committee and two openings on the Mattapoisett School Committee. Interested candidates can either call 508-758-4100 x 2 or stop by the Town Clerk’s Office for more information. The deadline for obtaining nomination papers is Friday, March 29at 5:00 pm. The Annual Town Election will be held on Tuesday, May 21. Polls will be open at Old Hammondtown School from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.
