Explore the Teen Summer Reading lists at the library and check out the books we have available. Teens can pick prizes each time they read a book from their assigned reading list and fill out a book review. Students going into grades 7-12 are eligible to participate.
The library is hosting a Teen Video Game Takeover on July 21 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Use the library’s PlayStation or Switch consoles to play a variety of fun games. Play with friends, improve your video game skills, and enjoy a snack. No registration required, just drop in. This session is for grades 6 and up.
Don’t miss the chance to win a themed gift basket at the Jennifer Mason-Black Author Talk. Teens who check out the book “Sometimes the Girl,” write a book review on it, recommend it to a friend or family member, and/or attend programs related to the book will earn raffle tickets. One of the related programs is a Craft Workshop where teens will create a vintage catalog card junk journal, and the other is a book club where we will discuss “Sometimes the Girl.” The raffle winner will be announced at the Jennifer Mason-Black Author Talk on August 8 at 2:00 pm.
