Join us for a Teen Craft Workshop on Wednesday, August 5 at 6:00 pm. Grades 6-12 are invited to make a vintage card catalog junk journal at the library, with all materials provided. Teens can also earn raffle tickets towards a gift basket by registering for and attending this program. Raffle winners will be announced at the Jennifer Mason-Black Author Talk on August 8.
The library is also hosting a summer reading book club session on Friday, August 7 at 3:30 pm. Grades 6-12 are invited to read Jennifer Mason-Black’s book, “Sometimes the Girl,” and then come ready to discuss. Raffle tickets will be awarded to anyone who participates, and the raffle winners will be announced at the Jennifer Mason-Black Author Talk on August 8.
Finally, don’t miss the Author Talk with Jennifer Mason-Black, on Saturday, August 8 at 2:00 pm. Listen to Jennifer speak about her book, “Sometimes the Girl,” and then stick around for a Q&A session. This event is great for all ages, as the novel focuses on intergenerational relationships and community. Raffle winners for gift baskets will be announced at the end of the Author Talk.
