Rochester Barn, Home and Garden Tour

Antique farm implements, a green eco-home, a deluxe mason-built homestead, a rescue farm with gardens and a luxury horse barn will all be open for public viewing from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 24 in Rochester. The Rochester Land Trust is holding its Barn, Home and Garden Tour as a fundraiser to let the public see inside these unique properties that make the town so special.

The first stop is to purchase a $10 per carload ticket at the RLT booth on the Town Hall Commons, Constitution Road, across from Plumb Corner Mall, 565 Rounseville Road, Route 105. There, participants will have an opportunity to learn about RLT properties and land preservation efforts. They will also receive a map for the self-directed Barn, Home and Garden Tour, with pond and field vistas at every turn.

The tour will be held rain or shine. No pets are allowed. Kids of all ages are welcomed. Join the RLT for an afternoon fun in the country, go on out to play in the barns, homes and gardens.
