Join your friends and neighbors on Sunday, March 17, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library, 7 Barstow Street, Mattapoisett ,for a sing-along of the folk songs of the 1930s. We will be singing songs collected by the WPA musicians or written by Woody Guthrie and other folk composers of the Depression Era. Lyric sheets will be provided, and light refreshments will be served. Musical accompaniment will be provided by local musicians. This program is part of the “One Book, Tri-Town” series of events, and is supported by the Rochester Cultural Council and the Friends of Plumb Library.
