Elizabeth Taber Library Summer Programs Continue

Summer reading registration is open, and exciting summer programs are underway at the Elizabeth Taber Library. Visit elizabethtaberlibrary.org/summer for information on all our summer children’s programs.

On Tuesday, June 30 at 6:00 pm, kids and their caregivers can listen to Kendal Heldt read her book Queen of the Rocks, based on Marion’s Planting Island Causeway, and make their very own sea glass craft.

Local favorite Toe Jam Puppet Band will be making a stop at the Elizabeth Taber Library at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, July 2 for an outdoor concert.

Teens and tweens ages 10+ with a love for theater won’t want to miss our stage makeup workshop with Little Spark Theater. Register online at elizabethtaberlibrary.org/events. Participants will learn how to make fake wounds and bruises using stage makeup at 11:30 am on Tuesday, July 7.

You’ll also be able to find us at the Washburn Trust Farmer’s Market this summer. Starting Tuesday, June 30 at 2:00 pm, we’ll be providing storytime every other week at the farmers’ market. Kids ages 0-5 and their families won’t want to miss this chance to do shop for local produce and goods while also participating in an energetic storytime.
