It’s not too late to sign up for Summer Reading at the Elizabeth Taber Library. Kids of all ages can set a reading goal and win ice cream coupons and free books. Adults and Teens earn raffle tickets by checking out books and attending Library programs.
Join us on Monday, July 20 at 10:30 am for a special story time visit from the Wareham Gatemen. Kids of all ages are invited to listen to stories, sing and move, and even play catch with the players after story time is over.
On Tuesday, July 28, stop by the Washburn Trust Farmer’s Market for story time at 2 pm. This story time is designed for kids ages 0-5. After story time, you won’t want to miss shopping for local produce and goods.
July 28 will be a nature-filled day of special programs at the Library. Kids can learn about how animals survive in the wild with Joy from Joys of Nature. We’ll be hosting two sessions of this program – one at 3:30 pm and one at 4:30 pm. Register at elizabethtaberlibrary.org/events to save your place in this program. You won’t want to miss meeting live animals at this incredible educational event.
Adults will want to join us back at the Library at 6 pm for a special lecture by Joy Marzlof about Madagascar’s rainforest and the singing Indri, a species of lemur. This incredible nature and conservation-based program will be chock full of incredible photographs and information.
