Art Month at Elizabeth Taber Library

April is Art Month at Elizabeth Taber Library! All throughout April visitors of all ages are invited to participate in art month: a series of interactive artistic events at the library. 

            April 1 – April 6:Drop-in button crafts all week! Check out our brand-new button machine! Make your own button and add your own touch to our button mural. 

            April 8:3:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Learn about street art and how some artists use their world as their canvas. Then design your own stencils with our 3D printer to make your own graffiti art!

            April 16– April 20:Drop-in comic crafts all week! Turn old comic books into unique crafts. Make bookmarks, buttons, wall art, and more.

            April 22:3:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Get outside and make some art! Use brushes, sticks, spray bottles, water balloons, and more to make wild, drippy, out of this world art!

            April 29:3:00 pm – 4:00 pm – See how artists incorporate natural and urban elements into their designs, then practice turning rocks and other natural materials into fantastic works of art.
