Calling all writers. The MFPL Writing Group is meeting on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The group will do a combination of brief writing exercises, progress check-ins, out-loud readings of work, peer reviews, and silent writing. No registration is required.
Join us for a senior technology workshop presentation about “Apps: On the Go,” on Thursday, August 6, at 10:30 am. The award-winning movie In the Whale is showing at MFPL on August 7 at 6:00 pm. The film tells the true account of a Cape Cod fisherman who was swallowed by a whale and survived to tell the tale. Watch the movie and then participate in a Q&A with the director, David Abel. Registration is optional.

Learn the best ways to succeed with your vegetable garden and growing, from how to treat a range of issues, how to make the most of your fall and winter harvests, and more. C.L.
