Please consider joining the Friends of the Mattapoisett Council on Aging. We need FMCoA members to be on our Board of Directors. Directors help plan activities and raise funds to provide services for the elderly of our town.
The FMCoA hosts events like the Annual Holiday Party and St. Paddy’s Day Party as well as an End of Summer luncheon in September. Our fundraising efforts include an Annual Easter Homemade Pie and Cake Sale. Recently, we sold Mattapoisett-themed note cards, totes, aprons and sweatshirts. Look for new offerings just in time for the holidays.
Check out the new seating arrangement in the Senior Center’s Activity Room that was purchased by the FMCoA. We also send cards and distribute mementos to Mattapoisett seniors as well as provide coffee, tea, and cocoa supplies for Senior Center visitors.
