Brulport to Play NCAA Division II Baseball at Stonehill College

Bishop Stang Senior and left-handed pitcher Max Brulport of Rochester signed a Letter of Commitment at Bishop Stang High School, attended by his parents, Beth and Mark Brulport, along with coach Brian Rose and friends. This Fall, Max will play NCAA Division II baseball for the Stonehill College Skyhawks while studying Business Management and Marketing.

Max has dreamt of playing for Stonehill since his freshman year of high school when he heard stories about the program from his pitching coach, Tom Farmer, a previous Skyhawks coach. During his years at Stang, Max worked hard on himself and his game in order to reach that dream. When COVID-19 brought his hopes for a breakout junior scouting season to a sudden halt, Max pivoted and used the downtime to improve physically and mentally. He worked on his arm and pitches, achieving fastballs in the low 80s, a strong curveball, and a developing changeup.
