Thirteen high school seniors from Marion recently applied for the Marion Local Scholarship. They are an impressive group of scholars, athletes, and leaders both in their school communities and in our region.
This year’s recipient is Mia Quinlan who will be attending Texas A&M Maritime Academy.
Funds for this scholarship are raised by donations from residents of the town. The students and the committee thank everyone who contributed and hope that this generosity will continue.
