Sienna E. Wurl of Mattapoisett was welcomed into Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society at the Western New England University chapter’s annual induction ceremony in April.
Omicron Delta Kappa is a national leadership honor society that recognizes and encourages achievement in scholarship, athletics, campus or community service, social and religious activities, as well as campus government, journalism, speech and the mass media, and creative and performing arts. Wurl is majoring in Doctor of Pharmacy.
Colby-Sawyer College has named Marissa Williams of Mattapoisett to the dean’s list for spring 2019. Williams is a nursing major and a member of the class of 2020. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.
