Academic Achievement

A total of 1,453 students were named to College of the Holy Cross’ Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2020-21 academic year. The following Tri-Town students made the list: Collin Fitzpatrick of Marion, a member of the Class of 2022, majoring in Economics; Danielle Nutter of Mattapoisett, a member of the Class of 2024, majoring in Undeclared; Anne Le Gassick of Mattapoisett, a member of the Class of 2024, majoring in Undeclared.

            To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

            The following local students were recently named to the Northeastern University’s dean’s list for the Fall semester, which ended in December 2020: Mattapoisett residents Lily Youngberg, majoring in architectural studies, and Noah Greany, majoring in cell and molecular biology.

            To achieve the dean’s list distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.5 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no single grade lower than a C- during the course of their college career. Each student receives a letter of commendation and congratulation from their college dean.
