New Assistant Principal at Sippican School

As Superintendent of Schools for the Old Rochester Regional School District and Massachusetts Superintendency Union # 55, I am pleased to announce that Mr. Sean Persico will be the new Assistant Principal of Sippican Elementary School in Marion, Massachusetts this coming 2020-2021 school year. Mr. Persico will be replacing Mr. Kyle Letendre, who fulfilled a one-year appointment this past school year.

            Mr. Persico has been the Assistant Principal at Donovan Elementary in Randolph Public Schools since 2019. Prior to being the Assistant Principal at Donovan Elementary, he was an Integrated Special Education Teacher in the Falmouth Public Schools since 2013.

            Mr. Persico has a Master of Education in Special Education degree from American International College. In addition, he has earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies degree in School Administration from American International College. Mr. Persico currently lives in Marion, Massachusetts.

            As an administrator, Mr. Persico is a strong educational leader, who uses an open-door policy with regard to collaborative leadership in order to support all students, families and staff. He creates a meaningful and positive climate by being a great communicator, and a fair, and consistent leader. His experience working in a wide range of grade levels has given him a wealth of knowledge to support the diverse needs of elementary school children, and staff. He takes immense pride in his ability to build a strong sense of community. Furthermore, he operates with integrity to gain the trust and appreciation of faculty, students, and parents.

            Ms. Persico is considered by his former colleagues as supportive, passionate, organized, and a great leader who always places the needs of students first. He will begin his role as Assistant Principal at Sippican Elementary School in July of 2020.

            Our school community is excited to welcome him to Sippican School.
