The new Scouting year is underway for Mattapoisett Boy Scout Troop 53! Come check out Scouting. We offer activities including biking, kayaking, hiking, climbing, and fun monthly campouts and more. We are looking for boys ages 11 to 17 to join us for adventure. No previous Scouting experience is necessary. I would like to recommend a project for the scouts consideration,
An Eagle Scout did it for Gifts To Give to earn his Eagle badge.
If interested in learning about it and applying for council approval please contact me and I’ll discuss and show you
the project. He gathered 1,000 balls of different sports and play for the less fortunate in our area.
G2G is a childrens charity , It provides clothing packages with books and toys as well.
I do orders and most families request balls if available. Gets children out to play.
We are down to very few and thought it might be something of interest to troop 53.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I CAN GO ANOTHER ROUTE IF NOT OF INTEREST
