It’s time to clean out your old books to make way for new ones.
The Friends of the Elizabeth Taber Library are seeking donations on the following days for our huge upcoming summer book sale: Saturday, June 20, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm; Saturday, June 27, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm; Saturday, July 11, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm; Saturday, July 25, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm; and Saturday, August 1, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
We Accept Donations of: Gently used books of all subjects in resell-able condition, and we are especially happy to accept gently used children’s books. Also accepted are complete Puzzles, Games, Craft Kits and Legos. Legos do not need to be complete kits; we will bag and resell in large lots for others to enjoy. Records, DVD’s and CD’s are also accepted.
Items that we cannot accept to ensure the quality of our collection, please do not donate items that are tattered, moldy or water damaged. Please recycle these items. In addition, we are unable to accept textbooks and religious texts.
Donations will be accepted in the back parking lot of the Elizabeth Taber Library, 8 Spring Street, Marion. Proceeds of the upcoming Summer Book Sale benefit the ETL and its programs.
