Summer Reading is winding down at the Elizabeth Taber Library, but there is still fun to be had. The last day for kids to get their reading log stamped for a free ice cream coupon is Saturday, August 15, but they have until the first day of school to complete their goal and receive a free book.
On Saturday, August 15, at 1:00 pm, the library is hosting local funk band Get the Funk Out for a family-friendly funk concert on the library lawn. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket. You won’t want to miss this show.
The buzz of beekeeping is coming to the library on Tuesday, August 18. Adults are invited to join us at 6:00 pm for An Introduction to Beekeeping from the Bristol County Beekeeping Association.
Children’s programs will be on hiatus from Monday, August 17, to Friday, September 4. Our fall programs, including after-school programs, begin on Tuesday, September 8. You can find our fall program schedule at elizabethtaberlibrary.org/events.
