On Sunday, September 9at 10 am the Mattapoisett Congregational Church will once again host its “Welcome Home” event at Ned’s Point. Everyone in the tri-town area is invited to celebrate a new school year with worship followed by a picnic lunch. Traditionally, representatives from the police and fire departments are recognized for their caring service to the people of Marion, Mattapoisett, and Rochester.
