The school year is here. Start planning your after-school activities with some of our weekly library programs. Each Wednesday, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, teens in grades 6–12 can join us in the Student Lounge for snacks, crafts and chill time. Teens and tweens in grades 4–12 can also join us every Friday for T(w)een Friyays in the Student Lounge from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm to play games, read or relax.
Calling all gamers. Teens in grades 6–12 are welcome to join us for a Video Game Takeover on September 25 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Enjoy playing games on the PlayStation and Switch consoles, hanging out with friends and having some snacks. No registration required.
Help us make the library a better place. Teens in grades 7–12 can come to our monthly Library League meetings to make decisions about the teen collection, programs and community projects. Earn volunteer hours every time you come to a Library League meeting. This month’s meeting will be on September 24 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. No registration is required; just drop in.
