St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church extends an invitation to come to our Family Christmas Pageant on Sunday, December 15 at 10:00am. Our pageant is intergenerational, calling children, grandma’s, grandpa’s, parents and all St. Gabriel’s family who wish to participate. On Saturday, December 21 at 3:00 pm St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church and First Congregational Church of Marion will offer a special time of worship to offer comfort, healing and hope. Sometimes called “Blue Christmas” or “Longest Night,” the service is often held close to Christmas when the winter solstice makes the days shorter and darker than any other time in the year. People who may not be having a very merry Christmas and friends who support them are invited to come and sit with one another in a liturgy that speaks of the love of God for those struggling during this season.
