On Friday, November 8, the Sippican Woman’s Club will tour the Sandwich Glass Museum followed by lunch at the Daniel Webster Inn in Sandwich.
We will carpool departing at 9:45 am from The Landing Road Parking Lot in Marion (across from the Music Hall). At the Museum, we will take a self-guided tour (about 1.5 hours starting at 10:30 am), which will include a 20-minute glass-blowing demonstration, followed by a 20-minute film of the history of Sandwich glass, and the remainder of time will be spent viewing the museum pieces and visiting the gift shop. Guests/nonmembers are welcome and will be charged the Museum admission fee of $6. All will be responsible for payment of their lunch.
