Rochester Grange #257 will hold its annual fair Saturday, August 15. Doors open to the public at 1:30 pm. Admission is free. A ham and bean supper will be held at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10. There will be raffles and an auction of donated fair vegetables, flowers and other items beginning about 7:15 pm.
Fair books have been distributed around the Tri-Town area with rules for entering. Please follow them so as not to be disqualified. Participants may enter any home-grown or homemade item even if you do not see it in the book’s listings. Anyone interested in entering the fair needs to bring their entries to the Grange Hall on Friday, August 14, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. All ages are eligible. We look forward to 4H entries as well.
