The public is welcome to a historical presentation on Henry Huttleston Rogers, the benefactor of the original Mattapoisett Center School and many other buildings throughout the area. Learn about his origins and how this local man secured his legacy. Huttleston’s gifts to Mattapoisett and Fairhaven continue to serve the community. Historian Bob Foster will begin the presentation at 6:30 pm on June 13at Center School, 16 Barstow Street in the 3rd floor conference room. The historic clock tower room will be open for viewing.
Please join us after the presentation for an Open House of the Mattapoisett Council on Aging. Light refreshments will be served.
