The Rochester Land Trust invites you at attend a “Forest Management/Logging Walk and Talk” with Forester Phil Benjamin on Saturday, May 25, 9:00 am at the Church’s Wildlife Preserve on Marion Rd in Rochester (across from 194 Marion Rd. if using GPS). The Land Trust recently completed an intensive logging operation on this 20.8 acre property. Phil will explain how this process benefits the forest over the long term. Refreshments will be served.
