All month long, we are hosting a Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt in the Children’s Department. See if you can find them all.
Our Thursday and Friday morning storytimes are taking a two-week break and will resume on November 19 and 20, respectively.
On Saturday, November 7, at 10:30 am, join us for a roaring good time at Dino-vember Storytime. No registration required; just come down in your best dino clothes and enjoy.
On Thursday, November 12, at 3:30 pm, come take part in a seasonal craft. Fall in love with making these simple but pretty leaf jar lanterns. Just add candlelight for a magical twinkle on cozy autumn nights. Perfect for children of all ages. Supplies are limited; registration is required.
Learn to draw and paint digitally using tablets. All materials are provided. Each session has a customized art theme and help from a trained artist. This program is designed for kids and teens. Register online, in person, or by phone to reserve your spot.
On Saturday, November 14, at 1:00 pm, join ORR Student Lucas Hadley for a special engineering workshop as part of the Balsa Kits for Kids program. Participants will use a kit designed and fabricated by Lucas to explore and experiment with different elements of engineering. This program is for ages 7 to 12, and space is limited. Registration is required.
More information about all our programs is available on our website, mattapoisettlibrary.org, or by calling 508-758-4171. We hope to see you in the library soon. Until then, keep reading.
