New Music Classes: Sara Achorn will be teaching voice (ages 5+) and beginner guitar (7+) classes for all ages. Private, half-hour lessons are offered Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Toddler Music & Movement: The MAC will be offering instruction for children ages 1-5. Instructor Sara Achorn will introduce your littlest music lover to the joy of sound, rhythm, and song. This interactive class creates a warm, sensory-rich environment where toddlers and their caregivers explore music together. Through age-appropriate song play, movement, simple instruments, and rhythmic exploration, toddlers build early motor, social, and communication skills while discovering the fun of making noise together. The five-session class runs Thursday mornings 9:00 am to10:00 am, from November 12 through December 17, with no class on Thanksgiving. The cost for members is $120 and for nonmembers is $135. Tap Fit: Tap Fit returns with Tess Hedblom leading classes at the MAC’s Anne Braitmayer Webb Theater. The six-week session runs from November 2 through December 14, with no class on November 30. Each class is 45 minutes of tap joy. Classes are Mondays from 5:45 pm to 6:30 pm. Cost for the session is $125 for MAC Members and $155 for nonmembers. Sippican Lands Trust and the MAC Partner for Art on the Trail: The Marion Art Center, in partnership with Sippican Lands Trust, is offering a fun day on Osprey Marsh Trail, off Point Road in Marion on Sunday, November 15, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Enjoy the trails by making temporary art installations from materials found on the ground. MAC volunteers will be on site to guide visitors and share inspiration. The event is weather permitting; participants should wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
