Mark your calendars now for the Sippican Woman’s Club’s (SWC) signature Holiday House Tour 2026 on Saturday, December 12. The houses have been selected, and decoration plans are in full swing. Why so early, you wonder? Well, in 2025, along with our amazing sponsors, your 800 tickets supported scholarships and giving to local students and organizations across the Tri-Town area and along the SouthCoast.
Specifically, what do the Friends of Marion Council on Aging, Friends of Marion Fireworks, the Marion Art Center (MAC), The South Coast Children’s Chorus, The Town of Marion Fire Department and EMS, Damien’s Place Food Pantry, Elizabeth Taber Library, Friends of Rochester Council on Aging, ORR Athletics, Town of Marion Recreation Department, United Way Women of Greater New Bedford, the Marion Natural History Museum, and Washburn Park Trails have in common? Along with several other local charitable organizations, they each received donations in 2025 from the Sippican Woman’s Club.
This is in addition to the many local students who received direct scholarships from the Club. All of this is funded from 100% of the profits from the Holiday House Tour.
Founded in 1904 and incorporated for more than a century, SWC continues its proud tradition of bringing women together for learning, friendship, and community service.
We are always eager to welcome new members who share a curiosity for learning, a spirit of fellowship, and a commitment to giving back.
