We have some exciting news to share with you.
The newly renovated Teen Room is complete and we’re inviting you all to come by the library and celebrate this upgraded space. Join us from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Monday, October 26, for a ribbon cutting ceremony and light refreshments. Drop by; no registration needed for this event.
Through the hard work of Town Facilities Manager Andrew Daniel, and financial backing of Senator Michael Rodrigues and the Community Empowerment Fund, and the Friends of the Library, we have converted a former small meeting space into a warm, welcoming room for our teenaged patrons. Thank you all.
This new space will put to immediate use, hosting a Spooky Painting Workshop on Tuesday, October 27, and a one-shot Halloween themed D&D event on Saturday, October 31. Teens are encouraged to sign up for these events via the Events Calendar on our website. Feel free to call or email the library with any questions.
The teen room will be open for use when staffing is available, potentially Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Study desks, white boards, a large table, an egg chair, beanbags, a book exchange shelf, Wi-Fi access, crafts and games are some of the things on offer in the space.
Library hours: Monday/Thursday, 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Tuesday/Wednesday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm; closed Sundays and holidays. To contact us, call 508-763-8600 or email at info@plumblibrary.com during regular hours.
