Old Rochester’s golf team played their opening match at Fairhaven on September 3 and won 214–257. Junior Drew Butler was the medalist, shooting a 33(-1), while seniors Jack Czerkowicz and John Bongiorno shot 34(E). The Bulldogs are 1–0 heading into Friday’s match against Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, as they’ll play division rival Somerset Berkley Regional High School on September 8 and will host Apponequet Regional High School on September 9 at The Bay Club in Mattapoisett.
