The University of Rhode Island celebrated more than 4,000 of its newest alumni during the University’s 2026 Commencement. Approximately 3,800 undergraduate degrees and 900 graduate degrees were conferred on students during the ceremonies, which took place May 15–17, 2026.
Among the graduates were:
-Ethan Scully of Mattapoisett graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science
-Olivia Mydlack of Rochester graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting
-Cooper Newton of Mattapoisett graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
-Luke Brogioli of Mattapoisett graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering
-Grace Greany of Mattapoisett graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy
