On Saturday, September 12 at 10am, join us for a late summer hike looking for mushrooms that are fruiting. We will chat about basic anatomy and diagnostic features for identifying mushrooms. There will be limited discussion on edibility. Some potential species of fungi we may see this time of the year include chicken of the woods, old man of the woods, various coral species, golden oysters, and several Amanita spp.
