It has been a tough month for the Ensign Class as the weather the past three weeks has kept them off the racecourse.
The PHRF classes on Wednesday, although windy, have been able to race.
Results from the past two weeks show Kindred Spirits in first place in Class A with two firsts. Restless placed second with two seconds, Coconuts received two thirds, Surprise got a fourth and DNC, Morpheus got a fifth and DNC, and Oddball received two DNFs. For the month of July, Kindred Spirits holds a strong lead in Class A.
In Class B, however, the race for July is much closer, with Lindisfarne holding a one-point lead over Chickadee and Fir Na Tine, which are tied for second with Kinsail close behind.
For the two weeks, Lindisfarne placed first and fourth; Chickadee placed DNC and first; Fir Na Tine got a third and second; Kinsail, a second and third; and Seven Belles, a fourth and DNC.
As was the case last month, the next race will decide the winner for July.
