July series. Once again, the Ensign Class had to cancel racing due to Tuesday’s rain and wind.
Wednesday Night PHRF series got off to a slow start as winds were very light and shifty. The race committee had their work cut out for them, first by moving the starting line and then a postponement waiting for the wind to increase enough for a start.
In Class A Kindred Spirits led the fleet around a shortened course followed by Coconuts and Oddball in third. Oddball is the former Billy Budd, still owned by Jeff Lee. In fourth place was Morpheus and Surprise was fifth.
In Class B it was Chickadee taking first place followed by Lindisfarne, Fir Na Tine and Kinsail.
