Celebrate Banned Books Week with Banned Book Trivia on October 9 at 12:00 pm. After an early release from school, teens ages 12 and up are welcome to join us for a trivia game to win prizes and see who knows the most about Banned Books — no registration required.
Join us for a Teen Craft Workshop on October 20 at 3:00 pm. Draw a Halloween still life using oil pastels with librarian guidance. All supplies provided and registration required. It is recommended to wear clothes that can get dirty (for grades 7-12). Email faguiar@sailsinc.org with questions.
Help us make the library a better place. Teens in grades 7-12 can come to our Library League meeting on October 22 at 3:00 pm to make decisions about the teen collection, programs and community projects. Earn volunteer hours every time you come to a Library League meeting. No registration is required; just drop in.
As always, our programs and events are free and open to everyone. For more information, please visit us at 7 Barstow Street, online at www.mattapoisettlibrary.org, or call the library at 508-758-4171.
