Mattapoisett Yacht Club finished off its last regular week of the August series with two beautiful nights of racing. Tuesday night Ensign class saw Odyssey finish first in both races, defeating Black Ice in second, Hamburglar in third, and newcomer Reluctant sailed by David Neumeyer in fourth. Odyssey also won the August Series over Black Ice in the closely contested series.
In the Wednesday night PHRF Class A division, Kindred Spirits won with Restless second, Coconuts third, Dame fourth and Oddball fifth. This is also the same finishing order for the August Series totals. Kindred Spirits won all four races in August.
In the Class B division, Chickadee won the race over Lindesfarne and thereby won the August series. This series again came down to the last race with Lindisfarne, Kinsail and Fir Na Tine all within reach of the top spot.
