Job Posting Town of Marion Administrative Assistant Planning and Conservation The Town of Marion has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and skilled individual as the Administrative Assistant in the Planning and Conservation Department. This is a full-time bargaining unit position, working under the general direction of the Town Planner. The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including but not limited to processing applications and permits, scheduling meetings and appointments, organizing and maintaining files, creating reports, and providing excellent customer service to town residents and other shareholders (70%). The administrative assistant will also provide support to the Planning Board and Conservation Commission scheduling and attending meetings, compiling minutes, posting public meetings and verifying adherence to regulatory process and other typical administrative tasks (30%).
