CONTEST #1 - Halloween Story Contest

Write a story, get published and maybe even win a prize!

During the month of October The Wanderer prints Halloween stories submitted by our readers and the writer of the best story wins a great prize!

The best story will be selected by an area panel of judges and the winner will receive an ipad mini!

October 10 at noon is the Deadline for submitting a story

Stories will be printed in the October 15, 22 & 29 editions of The Wanderer

The Winner will be announced in the October 29th edition

Submit your story with a release form to our office at 55 County Road in Mattapoisett or by email to -All story submissions must include an electronic file (preferably in MS Word) by email or on CD.

CONTEST #2 - Halloween Cover Contest

Your best Halloween artwork could be on the cover of The Wanderer and you could win a great prize!

Submit your best Halloween drawing, photo, compilation or anything else we can print on our cover to enter.

-Deadline for submitting artwork is Friday, October 17 at noon.

-On-line voting will take place from October 19 to October 27.

-The winner will be on the cover of the October 30th edition of The Wanderer.

-The winner will also receive a great PRIZE!

VOTING BEGINS ON OCTOBER 18 - Don't forget to stop back in and vote!

Remember, all artwork should be tall to best fit on our cover.

Stories of excessive legnth may be edited or only partially printed as The Wanderer staff deems necessary

All entries must include a signed copy of the Official Entry Form which can be picked up at The Wanderer office, 55 County Road, Mattapoisett

All artwork/stories submitted become the property of Wanderer Com Inc. and cannot be returned.

Artwork is to be used for publication in The Wanderer newspaper and on related web sites for the purpose of this contest and in archival form.

All artwork submitted has been created entirely by the person entering and is wholly original and free of copyright limitations.

Any artwork that is not hand drawn may require additional verification as to authenticity of work.

Entrants hold no claims with regard to the outcome or awarding of prizes.
