"The Haunted Doll Found in a Haunted House" by Deianeria Underhill

My name was Kam. I was a 10 year old girl who was alone on hallows eve night. I was alone in a haunted house when the clock struck twelve. The door slammed closed with no one in sight, but there was one thing that glowed in a light. A doll, perhaps, with needles and stitches all through her back. Her hair was a rag all dirty and moldy. I thought to myself, who else was in here? I looked around all cold and scared. I turned the corner to see the door was here, her eyes were red and she had a grin on her face. I said to myself, how was she there?

I fell asleep to wake up to a noise that sounded like laughing down along the stairs. I stood up and raced down the stairs and out the door. I went back home to find no one was there, or so I thought. I ran to my mom's room to find her on the ground with the doll on her bed. "But how?" I said. A girl stood in the corner and she looked like me but with blood on her hands. Who could she be? I didn't sleep that night, but lay awake with my light on and chair in front of my door.

All of the sudden a wind from out of the blue swooped through my room like a wave or two, my light started to flicker as if it would soon turn off. I screamed for help but no one was around. My door flew open to see a race. I was the girl in the corner from the other day. I don't quite remember what happened that night but I was found lying on the floor the next day surrounded by cops. They did not say what they thought happened to me other than I was murdered that night.

But one thing I know was that the police rose to their feet from fright after seeing the doll and the girl laughing in plain sight. I have just one thing to say before you leave. Happy Halloween and get a good night's sleep.
