The Mattapoisett Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the Town Hall on the Request for A Determination of Applicability submitted by CARLOS & GAIL FREITAS, 75 Benoit Street, Westport, MA 02790. The proposed project is to construct a single family dwelling at this location. Only a portion of the proposed driveway and associated grading will occur within the 100 foot buffer zone to a bordering vegetated wetland. This wetland is located on the opposite side of Brandt Island Road. The project is located at Brandt Island Road and is further identified as Lot 15.F on Assessor Map 13.

WATER MAIN FLUSHING will be conducted from November 5, 2018 through November 20, 2018.
Flushing will begin Monday, November 5, 2018 at 8:00 pm and will continue until 3:00 am on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
Flushing will be continued from November 6, 2018 through Tuesday, November 20, 2018 during the daylight hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Discolored or red water may be expected along with periods of low water pressure in some areas.
Locations most likely to be affected are those south of Route 6 extending from Main Street east to Aucoot Road and including Crescent Beach, Point Connett, Hollywood's, and Pease's Point.
Chlorine will be injected into the system before flushing begins and will continue for a period after flushing is completed.

A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the Rochester Town Hall Meeting Room, One Constitution Way, Rochester, MA regarding a Notice of Intent filed by BARTLETT CONSOLIDATED, LLC, P.O. Box 810, Plymouth, MA 02360, for property located off Mary's Pond Road on Leonard's Pond Bridge, Rochester, MA 02770. The applicant proposes to repair the guardrail and concrete curb on the Town of Rochester bridge at Leonard's Pond that was damaged in an accident in June 2017. The work includes replacing two sections of concrete curb and guardrail, one section is 50 feet and the second section is 78 feet in length. The work will occur within the 200-foot Riverfront Area to the Sippican River and above Leonard's Pond.
