PROJECT: New Bedford Waste Services-Rochester Division
LOCATION: 48-50 Cranberry Highway, Rochester, MA
PROPONENT: New Bedford Waste Services-Rochester Division
The undersigned is submitting an Environmental Notification Form ("ENF") to the Secretary of Energy & Environmental Affairs on or before June 28, 2019.
This will initiate review of the above project pursuant to the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act ("MEPA", M.G.L. c. 30, s.s. 61-62I). Copies of the ENF may be obtained from:

The Marion Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 7:40 pm at the MARION MUSIC HALL, 164 Front Street on a Request for Determination (File No. 41D-1732) submitted by TABOR ACADEMY (Dagget House Dorm) to construct a new wood/metal ramp on the south side of the building in an area currently improved by a concrete slab on grade and lawn. The project entails removal of part of the concrete slab, installation of 8-10 precast concrete footings, and construction of a new ramp (approximately 51' long plus landings).

The Marion Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 7:30 pm at the MARION MUSIC HALL, 164 Front Street on a Request for Determination (File No. 41D-1731) submitted by THE TOWN OF MARION, CONSERVATION COMMISSION for a selective application of an approved herbicide to treat isolated patches of Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) on both sides of Planting Island Road as well as poison ivy along the pathways leading from the roadway to the outer harbor beach. Herbicide will be applied by a licensed professional using application methods chosen to minimize impact on adjacent plants. Treatments will be performed as needed over a three year period beginning in July 2019.
The site is further identified as Lot 74 on Marion Assessors' Map 3. Plans are available at the Town House for review.
