A public hearing of the Rochester Conservation Commission will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall Conference Room regarding a Notice of Intent filed by Logging Swamp Solar, LLC c/o ReWild Renewables, for property located at 0 Snipatuit Road, designated as Lot 13 on Assessor's Map 47. The applicant is proposing work within Bordering Vegetated Wetlands (BVW), the 200-foot Riverfront Area (RFA) associated with an on-site perennial stream, the 100-foot buffer zone to BVW, as well as within the local 25-foot No-Disturb Zone. The work proposed within these jurisdictional areas is limited to improvement of an existing access and wetland crossing and is limited to that which is necessary to provide access to utilities sited on uplands at the rear of the parcel. The Town of Rochester is accepting bids for the installation for the construction /installation of two (2) security sliding cell doors at the police department.
Bid Packet with complete specifications may be obtained on the Town of Rochester's website at www.townofrochestermass.com/home/pages/bids-rfps or at the Selectmen's Office between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and Friday 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, excluding holidays. Bids shall be SEALED and MARKED appropriately and will be accepted at the Rochester Town Hall in the Selectmen's Office, 1 Constitution Way, Rochester, MA 02770 on or before May 23, 2025, at 4:00 pm. The Bids shall be opened on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 12 pm at the Rochester Town Hall and will NOT be opened publicly but will be opened in the presence of one or more witnesses.
