Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 15C and Chapter 87, Section 3-5, notice is hereby given that the Mattapoisett Planning Board and the Mattapoisett Tree Warden will hold a joint public hearing on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Mattapoisett Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Mattapoisett, Massachusetts and is also available via zoom. (Please contact the Planning Board Office for Zoom instructions). The Town of Mattapoisett Highway Department seeks a permit from the Tree Warden and consent of the Planning Board to cut and remove 3 Norway Maple Trees and 1 Green Ash Tree ranging from 17.5" to 21" in diameter. All trees are located within a designated scenic public way (Pearl Street) and abutting land owned at 14 Hammond Street, 27-29 Pearl Street and 9 Church Street. (Publication posted upon the Tree(s) requested to be removed).
