The South Coast Girls’ Softball League opening day is on Saturday, April 12. The event takes place at Hastings Middle School in Fairhaven. Parade to begin at 10:00 am, followed by Opening Ceremonies. The Gateway Squirt Grizzlies lost a Cape League playoff game to Nantucket 4-2 on Saturday.
