Starting September 8, Family Storytime will resume on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am. This storytime program is designed for kids ages 0–5 and their caregivers. Stories, songs, movement activities and rhymes help develop early literacy skills.

Afternoon Activities also begin on Tuesday, September 8. Between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm, kids in grades K–4 are invited to drop in to the library for a new librarian-led activity each week. On September 8, we'll be making sun prints.

Lapsit Storytime will resume on Monday, September 14, at 10:00 am. This program is designed for babies ages 0–24 months. We focus on encouraging positive bonding experiences through literature and supporting parents as they engage their child in early literacy activities. The library will open its doors at 9:50 am for this program.

On September 14, we're excited to introduce Nursery Rhyme Time, a new program for ages 3–5 held at 11:00 am. Each week will focus on a different nursery rhyme through simple, interactive activities. Research shows that knowledge of nursery rhymes can be a predictor of reading readiness when a child reaches kindergarten.
