Celebrating the 4th616 viewsMarion's annual fireworks display attracted several thousand people to the town's Silvershell Beach Park on Friday evening July, 3. The Marion town band entertained the crowd until dusk when the night's big show lit up the sky's above Sippican Harbor. Recycling Friends829 viewsThe recycling team at Friends Academy has been hard at work. To date, they have recycled 2.705 tons of paper which earned Friends Academy $13.52. In addition they have saved 18 cubic yards of landfill space and 11098 KWH of electricity, which prevented 5.42 tons of carbon dioxide from being released into the atmosphere.
