Best Performance458 viewsMidnight's Skipper Rick Bassler and his crew were surprised and proud to win the Marion Trophy for the best performance by a Buzzards Bay Yacht Race. They finished second in Class D and eighth in the fleet. This was Midnight's second Marion to Bermuda race. Midnight is a 45-foot Sparkman and Stephens Sailmaster 45 yawl out of Padanaram MA. Each week the lifeguards conduct training drills throughout the summer season. This particular drill was done with the Marion Harbormaster's Department and the Marion Fire/EMS Department.
