SLT Oyster Fest 497 viewsThe Sippican Lands Trust’s Beer and Oyster Fest fundraiser was a hit despite the threat of approaching Hurricane Dorian, which was replaced with blue skies just in time, and holding the event earlier in the day mitigated the guests’ exposure to EEE-carrying mosquitos. Best Performance496 viewsMidnight's Skipper Rick Bassler and his crew were surprised and proud to win the Marion Trophy for the best performance by a Buzzards Bay Yacht Race. They finished second in Class D and eighth in the fleet. This was Midnight's second Marion to Bermuda race. Midnight is a 45-foot Sparkman and Stephens Sailmaster 45 yawl out of Padanaram MA.
